This painting was inspired by Hildegard of Bingen a nun who lived in the 11th century, and who created the word Viriditas which means the green, rich, moist, nourishment of our outer and inner worlds. A nourishing greening power, fruitfulness, creativity. Creativity being greening power in motion, making all things new, grow, expand and celebrate.
